Description Key Responsibilities

• Position is primarily daytime hours; although there may be a requirement for occasional weekend work, and will involve an element of travel as necessary.

• The analyst will monitor helpdesk software for incoming tickets, and troubleshoot calls ensuring all tickets are allocated and being actively addressed. Hardware and software issue closure time is measured via internal SLA metrics. The analyst will be responsible for ensuring ticket closure within those SLAs while maintaining high quality of service.

• The Analyst will be responsible for hard- and software ordering, deployment and tracking.

• Assist in company projects, integrations, office moves etc.

• Provide reports to IT Manager, highlighting project status updates, issues and successes.

1st week
- orientation (set up of work space)
- meet the team (know the local team and get introduced to the other members in other offices)

- start working on tickets (Siebel)

- be fully operational
- take over key desktop support tasks form current desktop support
- solve the majority of tickets without help
- take over hard- and software ordering

- free up current IT support so that he’s able to take on his new role.

100 days
- work completely without help needed
- be point of contact for soft- and hardware orders
- be point of contact for all support questions and requests

- be the point of contact for all support related questions

Qualifications and Educational Background:

• 3-4 years previous experience of hands on desktop support required. Excellent communication and customer service skills a must.
• Must be able to prioritize work and coordinate within guidelines and SLA’s provided. Ability to learn new hard-, software and systems rapidly a must.
• Must have strong analytical competence, ability to set priorities and “own” problems.
• Must be flexible, accurate, excellent in communication, documentation and reporting

Technical/Functional Knowledge and Skills (Technical Competencies):

• In-depth knowledge required:
PC desktop and laptop hardware and support.
• Excellent knowledge of:
Windows XP / Vista, Linux (e.g. Red Hat), MAC OS X
Office 2003 / 2007 suite, Outlook 2003 / 2007 (Exchange and iMap),
TCP/IP and management of PC’s and accounts on Windows AD network,
file server properties and file sharing
remote control
• Knowledge of:
Inventory management
Network management tools (e.g. Landesk)
Ticketing systems (e.g. Siebel or Remedy)

Bereits ohne die schon vorhandenen Replies darunter zu lesen, wollte ich schreiben:

hier im HB scheitert es bei 98% der User bereits an der Sprache, in der das Stellengesuch verfasst ist... :|

Versuch's mal bei Xing, da solltet Ihr schnell jemanden finden.
